As the year draws to a close I thought I would take a quick look back at 2008. Its been a year of explosive growth in our business and many unexpected twists and turns along the way. I’m happy that this blog continued to grow and become a helpful resource for internet marketers in 2008
Here are some blog stats for the year:
- Total Posts: 143
- Total Comments: 3,575
- RSS Subscriber increase: 109%
Here are some of the more memorable posts in 2008 in case you missed them
- Probably the “biggest trick” I let out of the bag was this post: The CPA to CPA abitrage play
- According to feedback. the most actionable post for profit was Supercharge your CTR with spanish
- Most commented post (other than contests) was – The anatomy of a winning ppc to affiliate campaign
- The most in-depth interview I gave in 2008, if you want to hear me speak.
- What I consider one of the more helpful posts was on Private lead generation
Plans for 2009?
I plan to keep a more quality vs quantity approach with this blog throughout 2009. The goal is 2 solid posts a week, with more added asĀ things happen. Still no plans for linkbaiting posts to grab new readers or full site pop-ups to grab your email address. I like the “under the radar” niche this blog has in the PPC/Affiliate Marketing space. The goal of this blog has always been to simply share ideas and hopefully help some people out, not to become the next blogging superstar. I plan to keep the slow and steady organic growth of the blog with decent posts and great comments by you throughout the new year.
So thanks to everyone for reading the blog in 2008, and I hope you subscribe for 2009.
