Affiliate 101 Series

Affiliate 101Affiliate 101

To keep up with a lot of basic questions that our readers have, I have decided to start an ongoing series called “Affiliate 101″. These will all be filed in a category of the same name to make it easy for people starting out to find answers to common affiliate and PPC problems. I am working on some posts right now, but if you have a specific basic affiliate marketing question you would like answered, please post them in the comments section.

1) Should a page be indexed and rank in the SERPs before hitting AdWords with Ads for it?

2) Adwords Introduction

3 Most important things when building a landing page

4) Recommend Affiliate Networks to start with

I need to know what i’m doing wrong on my landing pages. I build them myself and have tried many things. Here is my landing page for a dating offer from azoogle, mature singles.

http://www.great-dates.info/mature/

my quality score is 3 on yahoo.

I have only converted two leads despite many PPC clicks.

I need help with well converting landing pages.

Thanks in advance,

Corey Bornmann

I’m glad I found this blog, a lot of information about AM and PPC for some who is just getting started.

My question is, how do you track your keywords in your PPC campaign? using php to grab the keywords? find which keywords are actually converting in to sales/leads.

Tracking is one of the most important concept of having a effective PPC campaign.

Thanks!
