This has been getting tons of press about the release Tuesday and the long lines of people waiting to buy it. All this translates into huge search volume for Halo related keywords. Your first thought as an affiliate marketer should be “how can I capitalize on this”. Well, a quick scan of affiliate networks showed that Copeac, has a free Halo 3 zip submit offer. With the search volume skyrocketing this week for Halo, it shouldn’t be too hard to pick up some nice leads.
Like holiday traffic which I have discussed many times before, capitalizing on pop culture trends and media hype is just one more tool for the successful affiliate.
Ive tried capitalizing on those zip/email submits with popular trends using PPC traffic and never made much profit. I get plenty of cheap traffic but it doesnt convert well enough. Ive tried sending straight to the merchants as well as doing a ‘voting’ page like some people do. Any tips for converting these types of offers?
To tell you the truth, I don’t do a lot of zip submits other than quick trends like this. But my usual traffic sources (see the 13 PPC network challenge) still convert at about the same rates for these offers..

I have spent many hours playing it since i bought it. HAs some things i love… and others well like the match making can be frustrating… but the game in full 1080p is amazing to see.
