It’s always a good idea to have your sites indexed properly by the search engines. It helps with pay per click quality scores and can lead to free organic traffic down the line. Most everyone knows about the Google webmaster console, but Yahoo and MSN also have webmaster consoles. I have some strong anecdotal evidence than adding and authenticating your sites in these consoles before launching a PPC campaign can help with scores and bid prices. It’s worth spending a few minutes to add each domain you are sending PPC traffic to.
The standard. With Google’s console, you can upload sitemaps, check robots.txt files, check indexing errors, etc.
Yahoo Site Explorer lets you do all the things as Google. There’s also a $25 YSM credit link at the bottom of the account screen.
The Live Search webmaster center has a lot of fun tools that the others don’t have.

Nice! Didn’t know about the other 2. Thanks.
I always forget to do this. Does really help for even ppc?
Yea I never considered the other two.
I, like those who commented before me, did not even realize Yahoo and MSN had these consoles. I’ve been using google quite effectively, and it looks like I should be getting into Yahoo and Live Search’s webmaster areas. Thanks for the heads up! BTW, that $25 credit from yahoo looks pretty good too!
I am familiar with Google Webmasters Tool, but not with the Yahoo and the MSN, it would be cool if you posted some screenshots
I have used the Google Webmaster Console, but I have yet to use the yahoo and msn one. Is it worth it to use yahoo or msn?
Is the free $25 credit link.. do you have to buy $5 or something in order to get it first? Or is 100% free?
Thanks,
Jean
