I agree with the above comment about the only way to gauge if a landing page is good/bad is based on the conversion rate. Landing pages are like brochures, if they don’t have a clear point (call to action) than they are ineffective and might even give a bad impression on the website.

This entire article is based on your own personal opinions. When it comes to landing pages, the only thing that matters are the relative conversion rates. You’ve arbitrarily labeled these “good” and “bad” based on your own sensibilities. It’s entirely possible that your “bad” example outperforms the “good” one — because you have no data whatsoever to support your assumptions. Assumption is the root of misinformation.
