We had family in from out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday and decided to go to the indoor skydiving place. It seemed like a good way to burn off some turkey to get blasted by a giant wind tunnel.
You walk up and hear this loud roar of a jet engine. The wind shoots up from underneath the structure at about 170 mph then out of the giant exhaust pipes on top. The actual chamber where you “fly” is about 15 ft wide by 30ft high.
Here is me on my first attempt.
I had been real skydiving before, but I have to say this was almost more fun. It really feels like you are flying weightless. If you ever get a chance to go – I definitely recommend it!

Looks like a real blast (sorry, had to say it!)
Wow that looks like a lot of fun, I have to try that.
I have been skydiving before as well but I really want to try this as well! Looks like loads of fun!
Very cool. How much does it cost and how long is a session? Wonder if they have one near Chicago…
The MarketLeverage team just went skydiving recently, and said it was a blast! I didn’t make it for this trip, but hopefully the next one. They have an indoor skydiving center nearby though, so maybe I’ll try that first!
That looks pretty sweet!
It looks like a great fun. I think I should have a try. How much is that?
