My biggest regret in affiliate marketing

I was asked by Michelle via email: “What is your biggest regret in affiliate marketing?” I get this a lot or some variation or what I would do differently if I was starting from scratch.

This is a no brainer for me. I would have gone after organic traffic more. Although PPC is great has worked unbelievably well for me, organic traffic (ie free) can work excellent as well. Organic traffic does takes more time to get going and you have less control over it. If you are impatient like I tend to be, you want the instant results of PPC. But I wish I would have started mini sites based around certain niches, that would rank well in the SERPs. That way I could go more towards long term organic traffic that is not tied to one particular offer.
