We've been field testing this unit on fleet cars and trucks in California for the past year and a half, and the results are pretty amazing (nice option if you don't want to have to go buy a brand new vehicle anyway). Thats great about your friend. I have always said if you had an electric car that you powered by your own solar, you are pretty much untouchable by any gas or power companies. 2010 is going to be the year when nearly all the EVs come out so I'll wait till then to get mine. A good friend of mine owns two electric cars that he powers with his totally solar-driven house and a bunch of charging stations we have here in California. He's always telling me how hard they are to get and about this website where people are waiting in line by the thousands to get one. I'm sure you've seen "Who Killed The Electric Car". Pretty sobering movie. Nice work plowing your affiliate profits into doing something altruistic. Right on, man.
